She is an Indian Film actress & tv personality who has been popular for her role in films like Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.
Personal Life:
She got married to Telugu movie director Krishna Vamsi done on June 12th 2003. The pair got a son named Ritwik.
Career:
She began her film career with the Malayalam film Neram Pularumbol at the age of 13. The most successful and influential film Bahubali without the role of Rajmata Shivgami is almost unfinished.
She is the popular actress who has done nearly 200 plus Indian films. Though this was her first film, but the movie delayed in it's release in the year 1986. Her first release prior to this release was Vellai Manasu in 1985, a Tamil film opposite Y.G. Mahendra.
She became popular in 1989 in a Tamil film Kasinadhuni Vishwanath's Sutradharulu. This wasn't her first Tamil picture, though. Bhalae Mithrulu was her first Tamil film.
Afterwards, she was featured in several movies where she emerged along with several other prominent South Indian actress as the pioneer in Tollywood (Telugu Industry). And she started her film career with several movies She acted in "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" (1998) a Bollywood comedy film.
