Sri Latha Nagaraja Reddy is her birth name. Nagaraja Reddy and Lalitha Reddy gave birth to her. She has two siblings named Kumaraswamy Reddy and Ramprasad Reddy.
Roja is married to the director of Ace Tamil R.K.Selvamani Since 2002. With a son called Krishna Lohith Selvamani and a daughter named Anshumalika Selvamani, the pair was blessed.
