Rumour had it that Pawan Kalyan did not attend the ‘Racha’ audio function despite being in Hyderabad. “Well, the fake news that got spread like a wildfire through a local news magazine is not true. Pawan is truly not in town, not even in India”, says the Harish Shankar, the director of ‘Gabbar Singh’.

Speaking to the media on Thursday in Hyderabad, director

Harish Shankar said, “We started to shoot the climax scenes in Hyderabad from 12th March onwards and I mentioned the same in twitter. However, a magazine assumed how we could shoot the climax scenes without the presence of Pawan Kalyan. Hence they created their own news stating that Pawan did not attend the ‘Racha’ audio function despite being in the town. Now I would like to clarify about the shooting part of ‘Gabbar Singh’. There is a chasing scene in climax scene with 20 sumos in which Pawan’s presence is not required. Hence Pawan went to USA. So the fans needn’t have to bother much about such rumours. ‘Gabbar Singh’ is getting ready to entertain the audience in a full-fledged manner. We are going to release the audio in 1st week of April.”

Producer Bandla Ganesh also participated in this press meet.
