The unit of Linguswamy’s project has revealed that the regular shooting of the film starring Suriya and Samantha under Linguswamy’s direction will begin this 20th in Mumbai. The film will be shot with the new Red Dragon Digital Camera. Ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan, who previously worked for AR Murugadoss’ ‘Thuppakki’ and introduced the Arri Digital Technology, this time is going to create yet another history by using the Red Dragon Camera.
Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music. This is the first time combination of
Suriya and Samantha and also
Samantha’s first big film in Tamil. Hence the actress is curiously waiting to start her work.
Linguswamy is directing as well as producing the film on his home banner ‘Tirupathi Brothers’. Soon after the completion of this schedule the unit will shift from Mumbai to Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The untitled film is expected to hit screens in May 2014.
