The trend of biopics isn’t ending anytime soon. A lot of biopics have been made on the famous personalities in the recent times. And another one is in the pipeline on classical dancer Yamini Krisnamurthy. Giridhar Gopal, the man who made ‘Divyamani’ recently, is coming up with the biopic of classical dancer Yamini Krisnamurthy as is second venture.

“First of all, I would like to thank audience for making my maiden project ‘Divyamani’ a big success. I have learned the work from Viswanath garu, director Lakshmi Deepak garu and cameraman Sattibabu garu. I have knowledge on photography, music and VFX works. I worked for several ad films. Now, I am gearing up to make a biopic on classical dancer Yamini Krisnamurthy garu. She is one of the most inspiring people. Everyone is aware of her talent in Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dancing. She has received Padma Shri, Padma Vibushan and Padma Bhushan at very young age. My aim is to create an authentic and impactful rendition of her story. Presently, we are looking for the prominent cast from Tollywood and Bollywood industries to play major roles. Interesting ting is that Yamini garu is going to handle the choreography for this film. We are planning to make the film in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and English languages in international standards. Basically, I love creative field. I am going to direct as well as produce this biopic. I will announce the rest of the details in 10 to 20 days.”
