Three years after the divorce Amala's ex-husband AL Vijay's father has revealed this. Vijay's father is AL Azhagappan, who is a producer. In an interview he alleged that Dhanush is responsible for his son's broken marriage.
It seems after Amala and Vijay's wedding, Dhanush offered a lead role to Amala in one of his films. This caused the rift. He did not explain further.
Dhanush and Amala Paul have acted in Raghuvaran BTech. They have remained silent on this allegation for now.
