The pre-release event of 'Pushpa' was wrapped up around 11 pm on Sunday. It was a marathon event that went on for hours amid the loud cheers of Allu Arjun's fans.

The event was peppered with two major highlights. Rajamouli, the chief guest, said that 'Pushpa' is much-awaited in cities like Mumbai. Amid the perception that the film's non-Telugu versions haven't been promoted adequately by the makers, the 'RRR' director's statement boosted the zeal of Bunny's fans. The other highlight came from Koratala Siva, who said that he will be penning a huge subject for Allu Arjun after the second edition of 'Pushpa' is completed by Sukumar next year.

When it was Allu Arjun's turn to speak, he spoke for more than 18 minutes. The Icon Star said that Sukumar was absent because he and Devi Sri Prasad are busy doing the final mix in Mumbai. "I can't imagine that Sukumar and Devi, who have been integral to my journey as an actor, are not here today to celebrate this moment. Sukumar is making the best product for you all," the 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' actor said.

Bunny made his speech special by using the Chittoor slang here and there. He described Rashmika Mandanna as a national crush, and someone who is not only beautiful but also immensely talented. He sounded very confident about Sunil, Fahadh Faasil and Dhanunjaya creating a strong impact with their performances in 'Pushpa'. The actor also raised expectations from 'Oo Antava', which features him and Samantha.

Bunny, true to this style, congratulated 'Akhanda' and also wished the upcoming major releases of December, January and February. He took the names of Nani, Tarak, Ram Charan, Pawan Kalyan and Chiranjeevi in his speech.

The film will be released in theatres on December 17.
