It's known that Lyca Productions has moved the Madras High Court against director Shankar. It wanted a restraint on him so that he completes 'Indian 2' first.

The High Court has refused to restrain Shankar. This has come as a big boost to the star director, who is now free to take on another project. The court categorically refused to make Shankar furnish a security arrangement. Lyca Productions had said that it has spent Rs 170.23 Cr on 'Indian 2' already. Shankar can work on another movie alongside 'Indian 2' without making any security deposit.

The '2.0' director is engaged in the pre-production phase of Ram Charan's pan-India film. It will be produced by Dil Raju.
