No share in profits for Tollywood heroes?

It is not new for many big stars in the Telugu film industry to take a share in the profits of their film. Besides taking a decent remuneration, top stars command a stake to make big money with their projects.

The filmmakers also not bothered to share the profits as it brings down the cost of production, and minimizes the risk a producer's faces. So, they have made it a norm to reduce the remuneration and offer a share in the profits.

However, this tradition seems to be ending in Tollywood as several heroes are demanding more share in the profits and leaving a paltry amount for the producers.

As per reports, the productions houses are offering only remuneration to Allu Arjun for Sukumar's Pushpa and Mahesh Babu is also taking home just remuneration for Trivikram's film and no part in the profits. Seems like the greed of the actors has resulted in a loss to the producers and made them take this decision.
