'Real Star' Afsar Azad helps hundreds of families during covid-19

'Real Star' Afsar Azad, who has played character roles and negative characters in a number of movies over the years, has been a Sonu Sood in his own right. During the pandemic, the actor has helped out hundreds of families.

Going into details, his Azad Foundation has reached out to 1400 families with tablets, injections, food and essentials. The Foundation has given out Ayurveda medicines to a number of needy people. In this context, Azad has come to be referred to as 'Maro Sonu Sood'. June 5th marks his birthday. ON the occasion, several individuals have wished that Azad goes on to do the noble work.

Azad has made a mark for himself in the film industry without any acting training and background. He has made a mark for himself as an onscreen antagonist. Besides working in Telugu films, he has been a part of Tamil and Bhojpuri films. While acting is one of his major identities, he has also been a social worker in his own right. Azad Foundation has received accolades from the likes of Bandaru Dattatreya, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.

He has played roles in films like 'Sarrainodu', 'Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy' and 'Rudra IPS'.
