Nandamuri Balakrishna today sent Covid-19 medicines worth Rs 20 lakh to his constituency, Hindupur, in Andhra Pradesh. The actor-politician did so from Hyderabad.
"TDP leaders handed over the COVID kits to the relatives of patients," a note from the Hindupur MLA's team says. The kits have been distributed to the needy.
Hindupur in 2019 gave him a renewed mandate to represent the constituency amid an unprecedented Jagan wave.
On the movie front, Balayya's 'Akhanda' is said to release in August or September this year. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, the film has Pragya Jaiswal as the heroine.
