'Dr. Varun', directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of 'Beast' fame, stars Sivakarthikeyan in the lead. To be released in Telugu and Tamil, the medical actioner will be released in theatres on October 9.
Produced by KJR Studios, Ganga Entertainments and SK Productions, the movie's Telugu version will be released in a grand way. "Anirudh's songs have been a hit in Tamil. Thanks to the music, the expectations from the movie have only increased. The Telugu version's songs will be out soon," the makers said.
'Gang Leader' fame Priyanka Arul Mohan is the heroine, while Vinay Rai and Milind Soman have key roles.
Producer Kotapadi J Rajesh said, "Our film is a mass entertainer. Nelson, who is currently doing 'Beast' with Thalapathy Vijay, has made a wonderful movie. 'Shakti', our previous movie with Sivakarthikeyan, did very well. We have high hopes from 'Dr. Varun' this October 9."
With cinematography by Vijay Kartik Kannan, the film has editing by R Nirmal.
