Tharun Bhascker recently announced his third directorial venture. After 'Pelli Choopulu' and 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi', he is now doing 'Keedaa Cola', which will head to theatres in 2023.

While making the announcement, the young filmmaker was honest enough to say that his TV stint has been one hell of a disaster in recent times. He also said that his acting endeavours ended up as cameos and nothing more. "After successfully following my heart and acting in films that boiled down to small cameos, trying my stint at hosting my own show that got the lowest TRPs and after redrafting my scripts a zillion times, I'm ready to hit you all with a crime comedy," Tharun tweeted, announcing his new crime comedy.

Since the release of his first film, Tharun has done small roles in films as different as 'Mahanati', 'Middle Class Melodies' and 'Skylab'. He got to play a better role in 'Falaknuma Das'. 'Meeku Maathrame Chepta', his debut as a male lead, was a flop. His ETV show 'Neeku Maathrame Cheptha' has been a flop per his own tweet.

One hopes Tharun makes a strong comeback next year with 'Keedaa Cola'.
