I want to adapt Hollywood's pattern: Dil Raju

Dil Raju is planning to implement the Hollywood studio culture of holding multiple screenings before the release date of a movie. He has already done so in the case of 'Balagam'. And he is now doing it for 'Shaakuntalam'.

"In Hollywood, the studios hold pre-release screenings without worrying about financial implications. I want to do the same here. Holding public screenings of yet-to-be-released movies will create curiosity in the audience," Dil Raju said, adding that female-centric and non-star movies require such a culture more than other types of movies.

The producer has no plans to hold pre-release screenings of big-ticket movies like Ram Charan's 'Game Changer'. "Big-hero movies anyways generate solid openings," he added.

'Shaakuntalam', starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead, will hit the cinemas on April 14.
