An action thriller led by a female actor is rare in Indian cinema. Even rarer is a female-centric film made as a commentary on technological leaps in the 21st Century. Director Ganesh Raj (a debutant) has joined hands with 'Mahanati' sensation Keerthy Suresh for a Telugu-Tamil bilingual. Dream Warrior Pictures of last year's 'Oke Oka Jeevitham' fame is bankrolling the project.
"The story is filled with twists. The focus is also on shedding light on the unintended consequences of technology in the modern era," the makers today said.
Producers SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabu have roped in Madhesh Manickam to crank the camera. Edited by JV Manikanda Balaji, the untitled bilingual is going to have action choreography by PC Stunts.
Keerthy Suresh has been seen in this week's release 'Naayakudu' (dubbed version of 'Maamannan'). She will be seen as Chiranjeevi's sister in 'Bholaa Shankar' on August 11. Earlier this year, she was cast opposite Nani in 'Dasara'.
