'Atharva' is a unique thriller about clues department: Makers at Teaser launch event

'Atharva' is touted to be a one-of-its-kind crime thriller with a novel concept. Starring Karthik Raju in the lead, the film has Simran Choudhary in a meaty role. Also featuring Arvind Krishna, Kabir Singh Duhan, Vijay Rama Raju, Gagan Vihari, and Ram Mittakanti, the film has Sricharan Pakala composing the soundtrack. To be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, it is written and directed by Mahesh Reddy.

The film's teaser was released today at an event in Hyderabad. The male lead has been cast as a clues team sleuth in Cyberabad. He resolves to solve the mystery related to a series of murders. Action and thrills complement each other in the teaser.

Speaking at the teaser launch event, guest and actor Akash Puri said that Karthik Raju's performance looks nice. "The story of crime chosen by the director seems exciting," he said, adding that Sri Charan Pakala's background score sounds exciting.

Producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy of 'Akhanda' fame said that content-rich movies have always been encouraged by the audience.

Kuchipudi Venkat said, "The music is also very good. The director and producer have mounted the movie on a grand scale."

Prominent Editor BH Garry, who is currently directing Nikhil Siddhartha's 'SPY', praised the perseverance of the film's team, particularly that of composer Sri Charan Pakala. "If he wants to do something, he will not stop until it is done. The teaser is very good," he added.

The film's director thanked the elders for launching the teaser. "Elements like love, romance, comedy and emotions will definitely be loved by the audience," he added.

Composer Sri Charan Pakala said, "I have done quite a few thrillers already. This is my second film with Karthik Raju. This is my first thriller related to the clues department."

Heroine Aryaa said, "I thank the makers for giving me this awesome opportunity."

Hero Karthik Raju said, "This film is based on the ways of clues teams. Any producer needs to marshal guts in making a thriller of this sort. The clues team set alone took Rs 50 lakh to be put up. Sri Charan's BGM is superb. The directors' team worked really hard. I thank Gagan of 'Dharmapuri' fame for doing our thriller."
