Jagapathi Babu regrets his post-'Legend' mistakes

Jagapathi Babu, in his latest byte ahead of the re-release of Balarishna's 'Legend', said that he regrets his failure to take advantage of the momentum given by the Boyapati Srinu directorial. "After 'Legend', I must have done about 90 films. Hardly a handful of them are memorable. I made many wrong choices out of an intent to make money. They were misfires," Jagapathi said.

In an interview before the release of 'Rama Banam' last year, Jagapathi said that his character in 'Legend' was an unbelievable one in terms of characterization, tailor-made background score, character graph and other aspects. "'Rangasthalam' and 'Aravindha Sametha' come next. I am an actor, not a hero. I am not a method actor. I don't consider myself an extraordinary performer. I am a director's actor. My performance goes up several notches if the director is supremely talented," he said.

Last year, the senior artist was seen in 'Salaar'. He is also doing a film with director 'Manasantha Nuvve' fame VN Aditya. "I am asked to mediate between warring couples. If a couple gets divorced, what happens to their children? How do they grow up? Many of them become criminals. I and VN Aditya wanted to do a film with this as the premise," Jagapathi said in an interview last year.
