Ravi Teja, who was recently seen in 'Mr. Bachchan', has undergone a surgery. Details have emerged today. He has been advised to rest for six weeks.

Going into the details, the 'Krack' and 'Tiger Nageswara Rao' actor reportedly sustained a muscle tear in his right hand during the filming of his 75th movie. Ideally, he should have rested but he continued with physically exhausting work. As a consequence, the injury worsened. Since pain from the injury was elevated, he consulted doctors. "He underwent a successful surgery at Yashoda Hospitals and as per medical advice, he has been prescribed six weeks of bed rest to ensure a complete recovery," his publicist said today.

Ravi Teja's 75th movie is directed by newcomer Bhanu Bogavarapu, who has previously worked on at least two noted movies (namely, 'Samajavaragamana' and 'Waltair Veerayya') in the writing department. 'Guntur Kaaram' beauty Sreeleela is its heroine. Producer S Naga Vamsi is bankrolling it. Because of Ravi Teja's surgery, the shoot has been temporarily halted.
