Pawan Kalyan has pledged his support to the flood-affected regions of Andhra Pradesh primarily and also Telangana, secondarily. In response to the devastation caused by heavy rains, he has donated Rs.1 crore each to the AP and TS Chief Minister Relief Funds.

As the Panchayat Raj Minister of AP, Kalyan has also announced a donation of Rs. 1 lakh to each of the 400 panchayats in the State, totaling Rs. 4 crores. This brings his total personal contribution to both Telugu states to a significant Rs.6 crores.

The Janasena Party President has, in all, donated Rs 5 crores to AP. His generous gesture has been lauded by one and all.

Pawan recently turned a year older. At least three updates were supposed to be dropped by the makers of his upcoming movies. All of them were withheld after he appealed to them not to release any in view of the flood situation in the Telugu States. 'OG', 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' and 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' are Pawan Kalyan's upcoming movies.
