It is known that director Trinadha Rao Nakkina recently made derogatory remarks about actress Anshu, stating she was too lean for the Telugu audience, who, according to him, prefer actresses with "big-sized body parts." His comments have attracted the attention of even a section of the national media.
On Monday evening, Anshu issued a statement saying that Trinadha Rao is one of the loveliest persons on the Planet. She added, "His comments have been taken out of context. He has treated me as a family member. I worked with him for 60 days. I have been given nothing but respect, love, and lots of good wishes. Everyone please put this issue to rest," Anshu, who paired up with Nagarjuna in Manmadhudu, said. She added that she couldn't have asked for a better filmmaker.
Meanwhile, the Telangana Women’s Commission Chairman Nerella Sarada is planning to slap Trinadha Rao with a notice. On his part, Trinadha Rao said, "It has come to my notice that my remarks have offended many women. I made those remarks in jest. Since you have been offended, I apologize to you all. I also say sorry to Anshu garu." The director is known for Dhamaka, Chinema Choopoistha Mava, and Nenu Local.
