With Daaku Maharaaj grossing Rs 114 Cr in five days, Sithara Entertainments today held a success meet in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna said that it's a challenge whenever he reaches a peak. He added that he analyzes what the audience expect from him from time to time. "Cinema has become a necessity for people. Therefore, actors, producers and directors have to deliver what they want. Daaku Maharaaj delves into the question of water scarcity. We have to be futuristic and solve the impending water crisis. This way, my film is thought-provoking. As someone who represents a constituency in Rayalaseema, I know the problem of water shortage. I have tried to solve the water crisis faced by my constituents. After I became an MLA, I could resolve years-old scarcity issues. Daaku Maharaaj's story is partly set in Rajasthan. The location doesn't matter. What is relevant is that a Telugu Engineer becomes a savior there," the actor said.

Balayya was all praise for director Bobby Kolli, saying that he could extract his Nata Vishwa Roopam and present him stylistically. "Thaman has come to be known as Nandamuri Thaman. Today, I call him NBK Thaman! Dabidi Dibidi is not an item song, for Urvasi Rautela has a role in the movie. The Akhanda actor also appreciated action director Venkat and other technicians. He spoke about producer S Naga Vamsi's dream of mounting the best possible entertainer. "He is one of the few producers who has a grip on all crafts," the Veera Simha Reddy actor said.

Music director Thaman said that success matters the most to those in the film industry. He spoke out against mindless trolling by haters. "Negative trends financially ruin producers. You guys are not realizing it. Coming to the music of Daaku Maharaaj, Chinni was composed after the film was shot completely. Kasarla Shyam's lyrics are drawn from his thorough understanding. The writing team worked extremely hard. They analyzed deeply what kind of one-liners should Balakrishna garu's character must speak. Producer Naga Vamsi knows the pulse of the audience. I think he has the potential to become a writer. His success feels like my own success," Thaman said. He elaborately described how Balayya's performances inspired him to compose the best for Akhanda and Daaku Maharaaj.

Director Bobby Kolli said that 400 persons on set clapped non-stop when Balakrishna gave the shot where he thrusts a villain into a sharp ornamental object. "If everyone is calling our movie a masterpiece, the credit goes to the uncompromising attitude of our producer. For a lot of us, this film unleash our 2.0 version. The Trailers of this film received the maximum applause in recent times," the director said. The filmmaker thanked all artists, including Shraddha Srinath, Pragya Jaiswal and Baby Veda Agarwal. The Waltair Veerayya maker showered praises on Balakrishna.

Producer Naga Vamsi thanked Balakrishna for keeping faith in him and Bobby Kolli. "The box number success is secondary. What gives me more satisfaction is that we have done a new sort of film with Balakrishna garu. Our distributors broke-even by the end of the Sankranthi festival. Every distributor is happy with the result of Daaku Maharaaj. Visually and music wise, this is the best Balakrishna film," he said.
