Nandamuri Balakrishna has expressed his gratitude to the Centre for honouring him with the Padma Bhushan, a civilian honour he so richly deserves. In a statement on Sunday, the iconic actor thanked everyone who has congratulated him on the historic achievement.
As an actor who has done 109 movies, he made sure to express his gratitude to his "fellow actors, technicians, producers, distributors, exhibitors, family members, and the entire film fraternity who have been a part of this long and eventful journey".
Invoking his father, the legendary NTR, Balakrishna also profusely thanked his fan base that has stood by him for more than four decades.
Balakrishna's stellar moment has received applause from political dignitaries as well as his film industry colleagues such as Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, and others.
Recently seen in Daaku Maharaaj, Balakrishna also congratulated his fellow Padma recipients.
