Recently, director-producer Puri Jagannadh announced a movie to be headlined by Vijay Sethupathi. This pan-Indian movie will go on the floors very soon. Charmme Kaur will be co-producing it.
The talk in the industry is that Puri is planning to introduce a digital content creator-turned-actress named Niharika NM in Telugu and Hindi with this film. She has acted in a Tamil-language movie named Perusu. She is also doing a film titled Idhayam Murali in Tamil. But these small-scale films haven't afforded her enough visibility. A collaboration with Puri Jagannadh will provide her a great acting opportunity, especially because it is a multi-lingual release.
Puri Jagannadh is planning to complete Vijay Sethupathi's movie at a breakneck speed. Vijay, known for Vikram and Uppena, was seen in the blockbuster Maharaja and the flop Vidudalai Part 2 last year. Hindi film actress Tabu and Sandalwood actor Duniya Vijay have prominent roles in the Puri-Vijay movie.
