Sithara Entertainments has been on a roll this year. A day after announcing that Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom will be a July 4th release, the banner today launched its maiden collaborative endeavour with Vijay's brother, Anand Deverakonda. The launch event was attended by the film's heroine Vaishnavi Chaitanya and artists Sivaji-Vasuki Anand duo.
This 32nd movie of Sithara Entertainments has Aditya Hasan, the director of ETV Win's '90s - A Middle Class Biopic', taking care at the helm. Touted to be a "delightful mix of comedy, romance, emotion and drama catering to audiences of all kinds", the film's production journey will be set off in June.
The release date of the untitled family entertainer is yet to be locked.
Who are all behind the screens? Hesham Abdul Wahab is setting the songs to tune. Since he is known for melodies, expect the music of this film to be feel-good. A new Director of Photography named Azeem Mohammad has been roped in for this movie, to be co-produced by Fortune Four Cinemas and presented by Srikara Studios. Avinash Kolla and Navin Nooli, two of the regulars for Sithara's movies, are on board.
Who attended the launch event as the chief guest? Rashmika Mandanna was conspicuous by her presence. A pic of herself with Anand and Vaishnavi (recently seen in Jack) was shared by the movie's team. The script of the "most relatable love story" was handed over formally by Lucky Baskhar maker Venky Atluri and MAD Square maker Kalyan Shankar.
