Actor Raj Tarun's comedy entertainer Chiranjeeva is all set to debut on Aha on November 7. The film stars Kushitha Kallapu, the Internet personality, as the female lead.

A special screening was held on Wednesday in Hyderabad. Star director Anil Ravipudi graced the occasion as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, director the Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu maker described the concept of Chiranjeeva as interesting. "Director Abhinaya Krishna and I have been good friends for a long time. He has a strong grasp of different imitation styles. Thanks to the TV reality show Jabardasth, he became popular as Adire Abhi," the Sankranthiki Vasthunam director said, wishing Abhi all the best. He also extended his heartfelt wishes to Raj Tarun and others associated with the direct OTT release.

Hero Raj Tarun said that he has had a bond with Aha ever since it delivered the OTT hit, Orey Bujjiga, in 2020. He urged the audience to watch Chiranjeevi on Aha from November 7. He further praised the director's relentless hard work.

Director Abhinaya Krishna's decade-long dream of becoming a filmmaker comes true with the project. "Aha and our producers Rahul and Suhasini strongly believed in the concept. In Jabardasth, I always tried to bring freshness to my skits, and in Chiranjeeva, I introduced a new idea called the ‘Age Meter’," the debutant stated, expressing the wish that his "experimental" idea will be accepted by the public. The male lead in the film mysteriously acquires the ability to know the age at which a person will die.

Producer Rahul Avudoddi praised the passion of the team, particularly thanking the hero for his supportive gestures throughout the making. Even when Raj Tarun was running a high fever, he attended the shoot without a break.

Aha Content Head Shravani suggested that Chiranjeeva is being released as part of the OTT platform's effort to present local content. Since the story and treatment are entertaining, Aha wanting to back it was a no-brainer.

Aha CEO Ravikanth said that the story of Chiranjeeva has so much profundity. He promised that his streaming platform will bring out more and more promising content in the coming months.
