From September 12th, it will be Telugu Indian Idol Season 4 all the way on Aha. The performances of the top 12 finalized contestants will be streamed every Friday and Saturday at 7 PM on Aha, the Telugu-only OTT platform.

An event was held to sound the bugle.

Speaking on the occasion, producer and Aha's co-owner Allu Aravind spoke of the popularity of the reality show. Even non-Telugus from neighbouring States are evincing interest to participate in it. He thanked S Thaman for "breathing fresh life" into the show. "Even talents from the US are traveling to India to take part and showcase their passion. ‘Gully to Delhi’ is a commonly used phrase. In the case of Indian Idol Telugu, we have to use ‘Gully to Global'," Allu Aravind said, adding that Aha is proud of the reality show. He revealed that the OTT platform renews its license for every season. The third season was a "phenomenal success", he added, prompting them to launch the fourth season on a bigger scale.

Thaman said that zeroing in on 12 impeccable talents from a pool of 6000 applicants was a gruelling task. He described Indian Idol as his identity at music concerts. "The numbers attending our concerts has doubled because of this show," the OG and Guntur Kaaram composer said. Thaman also thanked director Trivikram for motivating him by recognizing the "poet" in him.

Telugu Indian Idol will travel to the US and Australia soon, justifying the 'Gully to Global' theme. Thaman underlined the emotional flavour of the reality show, in the sense the family members of participants are emotionally invested in the outcome.

Singer Geetha Madhuri is acting as a judge for the third time. Since she comes with a history of participating in a singing reality show when she was an aspirant, she can relate to the show's ideology and appeal. "I hope Season 4 becomes a huge success, and that all the contestants gain recognition and a bright future," she added.

Singer Sameera Bharadwaj is honoured to be a co-host of the season. The popular Instagrammer added that every word she will be uttering on the show will be heartfelt.

Telugu Indian Idol Season 4 on Aha will stream from September 12th.
