Action king Arjun’s 150th film Kurukshetram is geared up for Vinayaka Chavithi release. It was released in Tamil as ‘Nibunan’ and has gained not just good talk but also good collections. Arun Vaidyanathan has carved out the film stylishly. Passion Studios as presenter, this crime thriller is being brought to Telugu audience by Srinivas Meesala on Sri Vadapalli Venkateswara Creations banner. Producers arranged press meet and announced that they are releasing this film on a grand scale on September 13.
Tamil producer Umesh said, “Kurukshetram is the second film from our Passion Studios banner. It has become a big success in Tamil and I hope it will repeat the same success here too. Beside this, there are two more projects in pipeline and one among those is with Siddharth. Telugu audience have received our first project ‘Pandavulalo Okadu’ well. I am confident that ‘Kurukshetram’ will please Telugu audience.”
Director Arun Vaidyanathan said, “We met Sai and Srinivas when we were planning to release Kurukshetram in Telugu. They suggested few changes in the Telugu version. Telugu version will be further gripping. I am sure the film will thrill audience who are looking for action thrillers. I am eagerly waiting for Telugu release and I am pretty confident that this will do well here.”
One of the co-producers of the film, Sai Krishna Pendyala said, “Kurukshetram will have all the ingredients that audience look for in Arjun’s film. I wish and hope the film will be a big success.”
Producer Meesala Srinivas said, “We have planned to screen Kurukshetram in more than 100 theatres for this Vinayaka Chavithi. We are immensely pleased to release Arjun’s 150th film.”
The film also stars Prasanna, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sruthi Hariharan, Vaibhav, Suhasini and others.
