King Of Golconda' is based on the life of Sarvai Papanna, who fought against the domination of zamindars and feudal lords. The film's logo was today launched on the hands of Minister V Srinivas Goud.
Directed by Dr. Patrani Ramakrishna Goud, the film is produced by Palle Lakshman Rao on RK Films. Vamsi is playing the titular role. Speaking on the occasion of the logo's launch, the Minister spoke highly of Papanna's exploits. He added that it felt great to be releasing the logo of his biopic on his Jayanti.
Ramakrishna Goud thanked the Minister on the occasion. He spoke about the motive behind making the biopic. The speakers said that it's important to remember our history and hailed Papanna as the hero of the Bahujan community.
The producer said that the film has been made on a budget of Rs 50 Cr. Actor Vamsi thanked the director for casting him in the lead role. Alekhya, Madhavi, Gehana, Vanya Aggarwal and others are part of the cast.
