Sri Ramarajyam Success Meet

Balakrishna, Nayantara, Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Srikanth starrer ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ which was directed by Baapu and produced by Yalamanchili Saibabu was released two week ago and entered into 3rd week of its release. On the eve of the film running successfully in all the centers a success meet was organised at Film Nagar club in Hyderabad. Balakrishna, producer Saibabu, senior journalist K V Lakshmi, Parachuri Gopalakrishna, Edida Nageswara Rao and A S Murthy participated.

Balakrishna said, “Ramayanam is an epic that not only preaches the good and bad to the society but also reminds the traditional values. It’s our responsibility to procure and follow it. I consider myself very lucky to be part of ‘Sri Ramarajyam’. I’m honoured to have done the role of Sri Rama. I thank Saibabu garu and Baapu garu for presenting one such wonderful film. Nayantara is a special attraction to this film. I’m very happy that this film won accolades at Goa International Film Festival. ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ proved once again that the audience will always appreciate and watch good films. This is the victory of the entire Telugu film industry. I also thank all technicians. Jonna Vithula penned classic lyrics and Ilayaraja composed great tunes for it. Nageswara Rao garu did cent percent justice to his role. I’m very happy to have met everyone today on this dais.”

Producer Saibabu said, “I hope I presented ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ with the blessing of Sri Rama as per the liking of film lovers. I experienced 50% satisfaction. I’m happy for presenting a beautiful film to the audience. But I do not understand why the youth are not getting connected to such films. I wish a day will come when the youth also will watch such films. Few channels have bid price for satellite rights. Ramoji Film City supported us in making of this film. I wish everyone should take Sri Rama as a role model. With the blessings of God, I will make yet another good film only with Balakrishna.”

K V Lakshmi said, “Cinema is a visual painting. I wholeheartedly thank Baapu garu and Saibabu garu for crafting one such beautiful visual painting in the form of ‘Sri Ramarajyam’. The sets designed in this film are never seen before. The art director designed it in such a way that we can imagine how beautiful Ayodhya would be at Sri Rama period. The talent of artists could be seen in every part of set. It’s truly a visual treat. I’ve no words to praise the director for presenting one such wonderful film to us. Balayya garu is like his father and gave an excellent performance. I don’t deserve to talk about the performance of Nageswara Rao garu. However I wanted to say that he was one of the main attractions in the role of Valmiki. The way he described the meaning of Sastram, Astram and Brahmastram is very beautiful. I even noticed few youth watching this film. Every theater is running with houseful collections and it is not being easy to get a ticket instantly. Those who did not watch this film are very unfortunate people.”
