Anchor Suma hosted the grand event.
The audio launch started off with the title song ‘Gang Leader…..’ from ‘Chiranjeevi’s ‘Gang Leader’. The first three songs were released by VV Vinayak, Usha, Allu Arjun and BVSN Prasad. The teaser and trailers were unveiled by SS Rajamouli. While the audio CD was released by VV Vinayak, the memory card was released by Chiranjeevi. Later all guests spoke on the dais and wished for the success of audio and the film.
Addressing the audience VV Vinayak said, “Racha is sure to earn a special image to Ram Charan as much as ‘Gang Leader’ brought for Chiranjeevi garu.”
Allu Arjun said, “I initially did not believe when I learnt that Sampath Nandi is directing Ram Charan. However, this kind of combination is healthy because any director’s status would increase if he directs a star like Ram Charan. And it would also create hope in many other directors. There is lot of expectations from this film and I wish it will reach that level. I whole-heartedly wish ‘Racha’ to shake the box-offices of Andhra, Nizam, Ceded and all other places.”
Rajamouli said, “Mani Sharma provided evergreen musical hits like ‘Indra’ and ‘Tagore’ for Chiranjeevi garu. Similarly he gave ‘Kushi’ for Pawan Kalyan and now he has given excellent music for Ram Charan’s ‘Racha’. I also congratulate Sampath Nandi for getting a chance to direct a star like Ram Charan in his 2nd film only.”
Sampath Nandi while speaking, “There are pictures of Lord Venkateswara, Lord Shiva and Lord Vinayaka in our house till today. But from now onwards Chiranjeevi’s photo will also be placed along with other Gods’ pictures in our home. I also thank my producers for this wonderful opportunity. I also thank all my technicians. Sameer Reddy showed him on screen exactly the way I visualized. When I asked Mani Sharma for a different kind of music, he commented, “so far I was known as a melody brahma but after ‘Racha’ people will start calling me as mass brahma.” I’m confident in saying that ‘Racha’ will be a super duper hit film.”
Producer N V Prasad said, “We are very happy to note this grand audio launching event amidst the top film personalities and huge fanfare. My wish to make a film with Chiranjeevi garu right from the time ‘Donga Mogudu’ has remained a dream only. I even missed the chance of doing ‘Annavaram’ with Chiranjeevi garu, but later did with Pawan Kalyan. We finally got the opportunity to make a film with Charan with Chiranjeevi garu’s blessings. Both Charan and Tamannah worked really hard for ‘Racha’. Charan is as dedicated as his father. ‘Racha’ is sure to earn a special reputation for Charan as well as our banner. We are going to release this film in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages at the same time and create sensation. My sincere thanks to all our technicians who worked for ‘Racha’.”
Tamannah said, “I’m as happy as I was during my debut film. I’m so happy to see this audio function being held amidst so many seniors. Mani Sharma’s music is superb. I like Ram Charan’s simplicity. I wish the audio to become a very big hit.”
Ram Charan Tej commented, “Everyone are asking for Pawan. He would have definitely turned up for the event had it been on 4th in Kurnool. But right now he is in the US shooting for ‘Gabbar Singh’. Hence he could not make it to the function. However he called me and conveyed his best wishes. He also felt sorry for not able to come for the function. Mega Supergood Films gave super hit films like ‘Gokulamko Seeta’ and ‘Susswagatham’ for Pawan baabai. I was impressed with the Sampath Nandi’s story narration. Mani Sharma’s rocked the ‘Racha’ title song. I only know how many bones I broke for the dances in this film, but was least bothered. Tamannah is best co-star that I’ve worked with so far in my career. Her dances are superb. (Addressing the audience) I thank you all for coming all the way for the audio function. We will announce the movie release date shortly.”
Megastar Chiranjeevi said, “This grand ‘Racha’ audio function has given me the immense happiness. This movie will no doubt provide wholesome entertainment to the audience. I saw the rushes of ‘Racha’ and found mass elements and good drama. I wholeheartedly appreciate Sampath Nandi for his amazing work. The remix of my songs started with Rajamouli’s ‘Magadheera’ with ‘Bangaru Kodi Petta….’. Now they have included the song ‘Vana Vana Velluvaiye…’ from ‘Gang Leader’. What you have seen in ‘Magadheera’ and what you missed in ‘Orange’, you will get it in ‘Racha’ again. Besides Ram Charan, Tamannah also gave wonderful performance in the film. At one point of time I also thought that if at all I do my 150th film, it should be only with Tamannah.” Tamannah instantly replied, “I’m ready if you agree for it and Prasad garu will produce it.”
Speaking further he said, “Had Charan bothered about his injuries, the shooting of ‘Magadheera’ would still continue till now as Rajamouli said. Our family members do not have the habit of interrupting the shooting schedules and cause loss for the producers. So Charan never takes it serious even if he gets hurt during shootings because he always have the blessings of his fans.”
Addressing the fans he said, “Charan is stepping into Bollywood now. So he needs all your blessings. Just like you all, I’m also eagerly waiting for the release of ‘Racha’. I request you all not to encourage the piracy. I whole-heartedly wish the entire unit of ‘Racha’ for the success.”
Directed by Sampath Nandi, 'Racha' featuring Ram Charan and Tamannah as lead pair was produced by N V Prasad and Paras Jain on Mega Supergood Films Pvt Ltd., banner with R B Chowdary as its presenter.
