Ajith’s action thriller ‘David Billa’ was released last Friday (July 13, 2012) across Andhra Pradesh through SVR Media banner. Chakri Toleti directed this movie with Ajith, Parvathy Omankuttaan and Brune Abdhullah in lead roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja scored musical tracks as well as the background music. Marking the movie’s success, Sobha Rani of SVR Media Pvt Ltd., spoke to the media.
She said, “The Telugu audience once again proved that they will always watch and encourage films which have unique story and screenplay. As predicted by me right from the beginning, it has become a big hit. I’m very happy about that. The first box-office collections gave us the clue of Ajith’s market value. This would be the biggest hit in Telugu for Ajith. The audiences were clapping for simple punch dialogues. The dialogue “Aasa kadhu Reddy aakali” received huge applauds. Ajith looked stunning as Don. His stylish looks and his performance were simply amazing. The audience loved the film even if there were no duets, love and comedy. Yuvan’s musical scores and background music, Rajasekhar’s cinematography were special attractions. Chakri Toleti’s hardwork is paid off. He has a great future and sure to become a big director. We thank the Telugu audience for making ‘David Billa’ such a huge hit. We would surely come out with more good films in near future.”
