J K Bharavi’s latest directorial venture ‘Jagadguru Aadi Shankara’ with Kaushik in title role was recently opened to theaters with success talk. Nara Jaya Sridevi has produced the film with the ensemble cast. An abhinandana sabha was organised on August 27th to felicitate Pushpagiri Peetadhipathi Shankara Charyulu. After the felicitation, Pushpagiri Peetadhipathi said, “This is an unusual film and a history. India would not have been existed like this without the birth of Shankaracharyulu because of whom the Hinduism came to limelight exactly at the time other religions were ruling our country. He brought the awareness among the people about Hinduism through his speeches and established four temples on four sides of the country. Both director Bharavi and producer Jaya Sridevi have sacrificed everything to tell the world about this great human-being. Their efforts are appreciable.”
R Narayanamurthy said, “This film is one of the greatest films among those that were recently released. My tribute to both director and producer for their great attempt. Aadi Shankara was born to save Hinduism. I appreciate Bharavi for attempting a film on one such great human-being. I also appreciate big stars acting in this film. It’s a must watch film for all.”
Nara Jaya Sridevi, Bharavi, Gopinath Reddy, TRS leader Prakash, Allani Sridhar, Suresh Kumar and others also participated in this event.
