The two day event saw a record number of 600 dogs participating from over 57 breeds from all over India.
It will conclude on Sunday evening. It is jointly organised by HITEX and The Hyderabad Canine Club. This is the 3rd edition of PETEX INDIA.
The event show cases many unique services and products. Pet Gullies, a Hyderabad based company offering unique services for pets—Grooming, Training and Matrimonial Services.
Giving details, Hem of the company said they two mobile vans to provide pets bath, hair cut, eye, dental care and descending at their door step. They service 2000 to 3000 dogs in the city
For pet matrimony service they opened www.petgully.com which will bring together various dogs for the matrimony to fulfill their biological needs.
Yorkshier Terrier breed dog, probably one of the smallest dog breeds was showcased by Aqua Park.
Mark Kennel from Bangalore showcased Irishsetter, a breed from USA. Shush-EZY, breed from China, Chu Wava, one of the smallest dog breeds from Mexico were also showcased.
Tibetan Mastif, a man size of dog was centre of attraction at the sow. It is a guard dog. It has come from Tibet. It is bred by shepherds in those regions to guard their sheep herds. These dogs can fight with leopards, the owner of the dog Asish Bittoo informed. The pubby if this breed costs anywhere from Rs 80,000/- to five lakhs.
To find lost dogs, an engraving service, pets back-packs, pets life jackets, dog clothes and accessories, wide variety of pet foods, a first of its kind pet insurance services; pet management services, pet clothes were offered for sale at the show.
Some of the stalls put up products on display include: Royal Canin, Dog o Bow, Hills, Pets 101.

FCI-HyCan International Championship Dog Show and Cat Shows Hyderabad Cat Fanciers are held simultaneously.
The Feline Club of India made PETEX INDIA’18 a complete pet care event catering to all segments of pet care. FCI-HyCan International Championship Dog Show (FCI-HyCan’18) is the official Fédération Cynologique Internationale (World Canine Organization) regulated international dog show organized by The Hyderabad Canine Club. Over 600 dogs of 60+ breeds participated in competitions and championships adjudged by international judges. HyCan dog shows have been trendsetters in India since 1995 attracting participants from across the country.
HCF Cat Show had 100+ Cats on display and raises awareness about cat health and rearing. The Feline Club of India also hosted Cat’s Breed Registration Carnival.
Pedigree Pawsome’18 featured various free fun pet activities, workshops, pet-health check-up drives and counselling sessions. Competitions and entertaining activities produced a visual treat for pet enthusiasts. Exotic birds, horses, aquatics and other pet animals were also be on display at the event.
