Hyderabad for Mice Industry Stakeholders Meet

Hyderabad for Mice Industry Stakeholders meet held here in city on Tuesday evening.
It was organised by Hitex with the support of many industry stake holders under the Happening Hyderabad initiative.
The objective of the meet was to promote Hyderabad as a great MICE(Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions)destination.
The meet was scheduled on the occasion of the visit of a well known MICE Professional and authority Mr. David DuBois, President and CEO of International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) informed K.V. Nagendra Prasad, Chief Operating Officer, Hitex Exhibition Center, Hyderabad.
Industry experts and speakers of reputation spoke under the broad theme "Hyderabad, The Capital of Sustainable Events in India.
The Chief Guest David DuBois, President of and CEO of International Exhibition body, International Association of Exhibitions and Events spoke on Creating Successful MICE Destinations.
B.P. Acharya, Principal Secretary, Planning; Tourism and Culture, Govt, of Telangana highlighted the Happening Hyderabad initiative.
H.S. Bedi, Member on Board of Management of International Exhibition Logistics Associates(IELA) and International Association of Exhibitions and Events(IAEE) also addressed 250 gathering of MICE industry stake holders.
Capt. Swadesh Kumar, Vice Chairman, India Convention Promotion Bureau & Founder of Shikhar Group spoke on Synergizing MICE with Industry Needs.
Rohil Kohli, Jt. MD at Creative Travel Chair--ICCA India Governing Body Member-EcoTourism Society of India dwelt on Building an Engaging Visitor Experience Through Tourism and Hospitality.
Senior VP of FTAPCCI. Anill Reddy Vennum spoke about Hyderabad for MICE and MICE for Hyderabad.
The speakers who spoke during the meeting in unison felt that Hyderabad is The Capital of Sustainable Events in India.
Hyderabad has all infrastructures in all aspects of meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions, required to cater to the huge MICE market.
It has good hotel accommodation and large number of resort properties which can be ideal venues for business cum leisure, they said.
