In the lines of Late NTR, Balakrishna always dreamt of doing a role of Ravana which got fulfilled through Darsakaratna Dasari.  As a token of respect to the contribution to film industry by Nandamuri family, Dasari has opted for NBK as hero in his 150th film.

The story goes like this.  Balakrishna is doing a twin role.  One being that of a Army Officer and the other a Film Hero.  As the army officer fights the enemies, he succumbs to the injuries and the mission which he was leading gets into a headless situation.  There comes the hero Balakrishna who gets into the role of Army Officer and carries out the mission successfully.  It is after the success of the mission that the truth of the demise of the army officer is revealed and a ‘Paramaveera Chakra’ is bestowed on the officer posthumously.  Though the story is not officially declared this seems to be in general the outline of the film which the fans can ascertain on 12th of January, the official date of release of the film worldwide.

‘Simha’ success must have provided the much needed confidence to Balakrishna who wanted to do a powerful role as given in the ‘Paramaveera Chakra’ for quite some time.  Further, though Dasari made 150 films, surprisingly this is the first time he is directing Balakrishna.

Since there are two roles to Balakrishna, there are many lady partners in the form of Ameesha Patel, Sheela and Neha Dhupia.  And at the same time villains are also many like Nagineedu, Ashok Kumar and Vijay Kumar.  With this Roja and Hema also have joined the band wagon which is further glorified by cameo by Sreenu Vaitla and D Ramanaidu. Brahmanandam and Ali as usual take care of their comedy department.  With such a high profile star cast, no doubt there will be high expectations from the audience.

Dasari Narayana Rao, who has directed this film with some traces of ‘Bobbili Puli’ is aiming high in his 150th venture.  It is very important to say a few words on Darsakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao who has now successfully completed 150th film.  This 63 year old film director cum producer cum politician cum dialogue writer cum lyricist cum actor has so far produced about 53 films apart from directing 150 films.  He kicked off as a director in 1972 with ‘Thatha Manavadu’ followed by ‘Samsaram Sagaram’ and his list has extended upto 150 with two important films like ‘Bobbili Puli’ and ‘Sardar Paparayudu’ giving a boost to Late NTR’s political life. He also has bagged the Best Actor award for the year 2009.

The movie which has already secured U/A certificate has Balakrishna shown as Komaram Bheem who is a staunch fighter for Telangana Movement.  And in other song he does Ravana Brahma. Mani Sharma’s music has further added value to these powerful songs.  While speaking on music Dasari has put in special efforts to take us back to the yester years including penning a song.  Since this movie is mostly on war front and filmy background the locations are mostly in Himalayas, Goa and Ramoji Film City.  Ramana Raju through cinematography and Gautham Raju through editing have also contributed to the movie.

This movie produced by C Kalyan under Teja Cinema banner will no doubt be a mass cum class film. As Dasari gave the much needed thrust in Late NTR’s political life through ‘Bobbili Puli’, can we expect ‘Paramaveera Chakra’ to do the same gimmicks in NBK’s life?
