‘Kshetram’ starring Jagapathi Babu, Priyamani and ‘Kick’ Shyam in the lead has recently completed its Malaysia schedule recently. This movie is taking shape in the hands of director T Venu Gopal and produced by G Govinda Raju under Sri Balaji Movie Makers banner. Y S Pratap Reddy is the presenter.
According to producer G Govinda Raju, ‘Kshetram’ was shot in the surroundings of Hyderabad besides shooting on a specially erected set in Ramoji Film City. Two songs were canned on Priyamani and Shyam in Malaysia under the choreography of Harish Pai from July 16 to 28th. The producer also informed that 95% of the shooting has been completed so far and that the audio launch will also take place shortly.
‘Kshetram’ is being made on historical backdrop but as per today’s trend. The main attraction of the film will be Priyamani as Nagapenchalamma and Jagapathi Babu as Veera Narasimha Rayalu. The story is about a Rayalaseema guy and a North Indian girl who will meet in Malaysia, how their love will take them to marriage and in the process what incidents take place will be thrilling to watch on screen. The historical episode will come in flash back which is again a highlight.
Rest of the star cast is Kota Srinivas Rao, Dr Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Aditya Menen, Rajeev Kanakala, Uttej, Akkinapalli Rajkumar, Brahmaji, Annapurnamma, Hema, Sivaparvathy, etc.
