‘Kolimi’ is the film being made on Telangana backdrop. ‘Prathyusha’ fame Nagendra is directing the movie with Shivaji in the lead. Interestingly Ramakrishna is playing the O.U professor. Uma Parvathy and Lavanya Reddy are jointly producing it under Charitra Creations banner. The first shooting schedule has been completed.
Director Nagendra said, “Some key scenes involving Shivaji, ‘Chitram’ Sreenu, Telangana Sakuntala, Raghunath Reddy, Goverdhan Reddy, Sushanth, ‘Gemini’ Raghava, etc., were shot in the 1st schedule. There are altogether 9 songs. Right now the songs are being recorded. The story is on Telangana backdrop. The film showcases the movements from Razakhars time to the movement of O.U students and prominent leaders today. It also portrays the injustice being done to the Telangana villages.”
