‘Andhra Pori’ is coming on May 15

Puri Jagannadh’s son Aakash as hero and Ulka Gupta as heroine, ‘Andhra Pori’ is being made under Prasad Productions banner with Raj Madiraju as director. The film is the remake of hit Marathi film ‘Time Pass’. The film is being produced by Ramesh Prasad who is the son of the great producer, actor, director and cinematographer LV Prasad and owner of Prasad Labs. The film was extensively shot in the surrounding areas of Palwancha and Bhadrachalam. After completing all formalities, the film unit is planning to release the film on May 15. On this occasion, producers arranged press meet on Thursday, at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad.

Speaking at the press meet, producer Ramesh Prasad said, “’Andhra Pori’ is coming from our ‘Prasad Productions banner as Production No.30. Recently, the film has wrapped up the shooting part and presently busy with post-production works. After completing all formalities, we are planning to release the film on May 15. Earlier, director Raj Madiraju has directed ‘Rushi’ film on our banner. Now, he came out with a good script. Puri Jagannath’s son Aakash and Ulka Gupta have acted well in main lead roles. The film is the remake of hit Marathi film ‘Time Pass’. Director has carved out the film wonderfully with in the estimated time and budget. The entire shoot has been completed in 35 days. It’s a teenage love story. Each and every element in the film will be very new. I’m sure the film will impress everyone.”

Director Raj Madiraj said, “Prasad Productions has 55 years film history. Prasad Productions was established by LV Prasad and now, his son Ramesh Prasad is taking it to the next level. ‘Andhra Pori’ is a story about teenage love set up in 1993. The entire shoot of the film was wrapped up in a single schedule in 35 days. We will start post-production works soon. J has provided beautiful music. We will release the first look in this month. We have decided to release the audio on April 25, and the film on May 15. Producer Ramesh Prasad garu has once again given me the opportunity. I know the value of this project. I’m thankful to him and would like to thank the star director Puri Jagannath garu to have given me the opportunity to direct his son. Aakash is a 17 year old guy. He is very obedient and perfectly knows his limits. He acted wonderfully before the camera. Ulka Gupta also gave wonderful performance. J has provided 5 beautiful songs. There are 3 montage songs in the film. I’m sure each and every song will be very impressive. Praveen Vanamali will take the film to the next level with his cinematography work. I’m thankful to everyone who supported me for the good outcome of the film.”

On this occasion, cinematographer Praveen Vanamali said, “The entire fil was shot in the beautiful locations of Palwancha and Bhadrachalam. Prasad Productions needs no special introduction. I would like to thank Ramesh Prasad garu and Raj Madiraj garu to have given me this opportunity. Aakash is a super star. He is acting well in every scene. I’m sure he will become a star hero in future. . Ulka Gupta also gave wonderful performance. I’m thankful to everyone who supported me for the good outcome of the film.”

I play a very interesting character in the movie as Narsingh YadavI understood that 80% responsibility of the film is of hero’s. Hero means the responsibility. ‘Andhra Pori’ is a feel good mass entertainer," says Aakash, who has acted as a child artiste in films like Chirutha, Bujjigadu and Dhoni. 

Chandra Kiran, Rajiv Nayar, Srikanth along with all the film unit members have attended the press meet.

Poornima, Eswari Rao, Aravind Krishna, Srimukhi, Uttej, Abhinaya and Sri Teja are playing other important roles.
