Anjali’s ‘Chitrangada’ completes shooting except a song

Anjali’s ‘Chitrangada’ has completed the shooting part with a song left to be canned. After scoring success with the film ‘Geetanjali’, heroine Anjali is playing the title role in a lady oriented film ‘Chitrangada’. Gangapatnam Sridhar is producing the film on Sri Vighnesh Karthik Cinema banner. Prominent director Ashok, who received critical acclaims through the film ‘Pilla Jamindar’, is directing this film.

Director Ashok briefed about the film details saying, “After the super success of ‘Geetanjali’, offers poured in for Anjali. But, she didn’t accepted for any film. After listening to our story, she immediately given green signal to act in this. The film is being made as a thriller comedy film with interesting elements and distinct concept in the lines of ‘Geetanjali’. The film will have some different elements which audience will never expect. 80% of the film’s shooting was took place in the beautiful locations in seven states of America as per the story requirement. Some Hollywood technicians also worked for this film. I’m sure the film will stand out as a milestone in Anjali’s career.”

Producer Gangapatnam Sridhar said, “After the super success of ‘Geetanjali’, offers poured in for Anjali. But, she didn’t accepted for any film. She was very impressed by the script narrated by Ashok and immediately given green signal to act in this. Director Ashok is crafting the film wonderfully without compromising. The film was shot in America along with Bangalore, Vizag and Hyderabad surroundings. Balance song will also be filmed soon. We are very confident that the film will become big success.”

Anjali, Sindhu Tolani, Sapthagiri, Raksha, Raja Ravindra, Jyothi and Sakshi Gulati are playing key roles in the film.
