Kalpana Chitra banner bagged Telugu rights of ‘Demonte Colony’

Tamil horror-thriller ‘Demonte Colony’ opened at the number one position at the Tamil Nadu box office, by grossing huge collections. It is already a hit and continues to run to packed houses in Kollywood. Not just that, it has rewrote the records of horror films by grossing Rs.6 crores in its first week in Tamil Nadu. So that, producers from Telugu and Kannada industries are trying to bag the remake rights. In that process, renowned production house ‘Kalpana Chitra’ has bagged Telugu dubbing version rights. ‘Kalpana Chitra’ banner, which delivered horror movie ‘Pisachi’ and Siddharth starrer different genre film ‘Naalo Okkadu’ in the past, is dubbing the film in Telugu. Dubbing works are going on in a rapid pace and the film unit is planning to release the film by the end of June.

Former Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi’s grandson Arulnithi, Ramesh Thilak, Sanath and Abhishek Joseph have played important roles in the film. Interesting thing is that top technicians, who worked at prominent persons, have made the film. R Ajay Gnanamuthu, who is the co-director at prominent director Murugadoss, has crafted this film. AR Rahman’s assistant Keba Jeremiah has provided musical tunes. Santhosh Sivan’s assistant Aravindh Singh has handled the cinematography work, while Srikara Prasad’s assistant Bhuvan Srinivasan has worked as editor. This horror-thriller which has grabbed everyone’s attention in Tamil Nadu is coming to the Telugu audience soon.
