It was a mother of all dramas yesterday, when actor Vishal's nomination was rejected. Vishal filed his nomination yesterday for the bypolls which will be held on 21st December. His papers got rejected. Vishal along with his party members sat on a dharna and it was said that his nomination was accepted.
But after some time it was rejected again. Reason cited was that he has not fulfilled the conditions for valid nominations, the R.O. said.
Vishal tweeted, "Democracy at its lowest low !! Disheartening to hear that the nomination made by me was initially accepted & later when I left, has been announced as invalid. #PoliticalGame. 5th Dec 2016, #Amma died, 5th Dec, 2017, #Democracy died.... #SadReality #RIPDemocracy."
