Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal and Tollywood’s Mega Producer Allu Aravind’s son Allu Sirish starrer ‘Yuddha Bhoomi’ is an upcoming Telugu dubbed version of Malayalam super hit film ‘1971: Beyond Borders’ that is raising curiosity among audience now. The film is based on Indo-Pak war that took place in 1971. Major Ravi is the director. The film which was released last year in Malayalam has become huge hit. AN Balaji is bringing the film to Telugu audience on Jashraj Productions and Srilakshmi Jyothi Creations banners with the title ‘Yuddha Bhoomi’. Dubbing works are at final stage. Meanwhile, the trailer related to the film has been launched recently by Mohanlal in Kerala.

On this occasion, Mohanlal said, “Major Ravi is a wonderful director. As he served many years in the Indian Army, he made ten films set in army backdrop and in that five were with me. He is a great Indian patriot. ‘Yuddha Bhoomi’ has given me great satisfaction. The film was shot at original border to make the film look natural. Allu Sirish has given energetic performance. Sharing screen space with him was a good experience. The film has won critical acclaims in Malayalam. I wish and hope that ‘Yuddha Bhoomi’ would become much bigger hit in Telugu than in Malayalam.”

Addressing the gathering, director Major Ravi said, “Basically I am a patriot and served several years in Indian Army and therefore I love to make films on army backdrop. So far, I have made 10 films on army backdrop and all have earned fame to me as director. Out of my 10 films, 5 were with Mohanlal. I consider myself lucky that I got the opportunity to work with a Superstar for five films. ‘1971: Beyond Borders’ has earned fame to me. It was made based on the real incidents that happened in Indo-Pak war in 1971. Soldiers have no personal enmity with opposite soldiers. They just fight with the commandments of their higher officials. Like our soldiers, the other side soldiers will also have patriotism. The film runs with an emotional drama which depicts the emotions, sentiments and responsibilities of soldiers of both sides. Mohanlal played major, while Allu Sirish played a young and dynamic soldier and both have given full justice to their respective roles. I am very happy that AN Balaji garu is releasing the film in Telugu as ‘Yuddha Bhoomi’. I am extremely confident that Telugu audience will like the film for sure.”

Producer AM Balaji said, “Currently, dubbing works are at final stage. As the director served many years in the Indian Army, he has carved out ‘Yuddha Bhoomi’ wonderfully. This film is the perfect example to describe his patriotism. ‘Yuddha Bhoomi’ is an emotional drama based on Indo-Pak war that took place in 1971. Mohanlal and Allu Sirish’s performance will stand out as highlights for the film. Dubbing works are going on without compromising in any aspect. I am very happy that Mohanlal has launched the trailer of the film. We are making preparations to grand pre-release event in Hyderabad. Mohanlal, Allu Sirish and director Major Ravi will attend the function.”
