Balakrishna has opened up on TDP's failure in 2019 elections, Jr NTR's political entry and more in a recent interview. On TDP's defeat in 2019 assembly elections, Balayya said, "It's our bad luck. Despite doing good work, we had failed. It's the bad luck of Andhra people too. They are feeling the same now".
"Will Jr NTR's political entry full-time strengthen the party in both AP and Telangana?". Answering this question, Balakrishna said, "It's all about how dedicated you are. Jr NTR has a great future in films. We can't ask him to leave his profession and come into politics full-time. I've been doing movies and also serving as an MLA. My father also did movies like 'Brahmarshi Viswamitra' when he was into politics. It's up to Tarak on when he wanted to make his political entry", Balakrishna said.
Balakrishna is quite confident that TDP will come to power in Andhra very soon. "People are already fed up with YSRCP government's rule. We will surely come to power in Andhra in the next elections. In Telangana, we have to do some work".
