Yuvasudha Arts producer Sudhakar Mikkilineni has confirmed that production of Devara 2 is slated to begin in May 2026, with a theatrical release targeted for 2027. This is the first official confirmation that the project is very much on, in recent times.
Devara 2 is an official sequel to Devara, released originally in 2024. The Koratala Siva directorial featured Jr NTR alongside Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko.
Here is what Tarak wrote on X on the first anniversary of Devara's release. "It’s been one year since HAVOC struck the shores, trembling every coast… and the name the world remembers is DEVARA. Be it the FEAR it unleashed or the LOVE it earned, the streets will never forget. Now gear up for Devara 2."
Devara 2 will be produced by Mikkilineni, Kosaraju Harikrishna, and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. It will once again have music by Anirudh Ravichander.
