Megastar Chiranjeevi, speaking at the success meet of 'Wild Dog' on Monday, said that the film has made the Telugus proud.

The 'Acharya' actor began the interaction by wishing everyone safe times. He then spoke about how he felt watching 'Wild Dog'. "When producer Niranjan Reddy told me about the movie before its release, it didn't raise much curiosity in me. I knew that the film is based on true incidents like the Gokul Chat blasts. I was curious whether the audience would accept a movie of Nag if it doesn't feature songs/romantic moments. But watching the movie was a constantly exciting experience. After the show, I called up Nag and told him why such an edge-of-the-seat film is not being talked about much. The audience have shown how good the film is with their response," Chiru said.

He said, "The Hindi film 'Uri' was based on surgical strikes. I was thinking that Tollywood, too, should make a powerful movie of that kind. 'Wild Dog' is the one." He urged the audience to watch it without fail.

Nagarjuna said, "I am happy that Chiranjeevi garu feels every Indian should watch 'Wild Dog'. I am proud that I have acted in a movie of this sort. I thank Chiranjeevi garu so much."

The event was also attended by director Ahishor Solomon and producer Niranjan Reddy.
