With the second wave creeping up, the Telugu Film Producers Council today announced that film shootings in the Telugu States will not allow more than 50 persons to be on the sets. This is meant to prevent the spread of coronavirus by ensuring social distancing.

A statement by the TFPC says that film shootings and post-production works have been carried out by strictly observing the measures. Besides social distancing, masking up and other precautionary measures, including the use of PPE kits, has been mandated.

Meanwhile, several films set to release in May are expected to be postponed indefinitely. Andhra Pradesh has announced the 50% occupancy limit rule. With night curfew in Telangana till May 1, April releases for the rest of the month are facing uncertainty issues.
