Natural Star Nani has cautiously criticized the Andhra Pradesh government for running cinema ticket prices to the ground. He pointed out that, in several theatres, ticket rates are abysmally low at Rs 10, 15 or 20.

At a press meet today, the 'Tuck Jagadish actor said that what has been happening is not right. "Let's forget cinema and politics for a moment. You are insulting the audience by lessening the prices. If I say something, it might lead to a controversy before the release of my movie. But I want to say that, more than what a theatre makes, it's about the people who depend on the industry for their livelihood and they will be affected," Nani said.

Nani's 'Shyam Singha Roy' will head to theatres tomorrow (December 24).
