'RED', which released on January 14, has celebrated its success meet. Speaking at the film's success event, RED's cast and crew member thanked the audience.
Speaking on the occasion, Ram said, "It was for Sankranthi that 'Devadasu', my first movie, released in theatres 15 years ago. 'RED', too, is a Sankranthi release. I have understood who is my competitor. The affection I have for my fans and the love they have towards me compete with each other. This is the biggest competition there is." The actor, who has played a dual role in the movie, added that the film is a suspense thriller with a number of twists. "There was suspense about how the audience might receive our film. We were eager to know their response. After the evening show, the reactions were different from how they were after the morning show. The collections have been increasing show after show," Ram said, adding that everyone had to work really hard on the output. Ram was also all praise for Mani Sharma and Sameer Reddy.
Malvika Sharma said, "I want to work with this team again and again. I congratulate the entire team on this success." Director Kishore Tirumala said, "It feels emotional to be in Vizag today. This film was not only shot in this city but also was written here. A number of elements in the movie are rooted in Vizag. This success is very important to us."
