Actress Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi gave birth to a baby boy recently. The actress shared information regarding the complications related to her delivery. The couple named their son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi.
The baby was born prematurely and is currently being cared for in a neonatal ICU, the actress informed. It is reported that the baby boy is currently gaining strength and would soon be out of the neonatal ICU.
"A sudden appendectomy during my pregnancy and a subsequent and very severe bacterial infection could have led to sepsis and proven to be life threatening. Thankfully, the timely care and intervention by our doctor ensured the safe birth of our baby via an emergency C-section", the actress wrote on her social media profile.
