'Mrugaraju', which again was headlined by Chiru, was a different experiment altogether. 'Manoharam', starring Jagapathi Babu and Laya in lead roles, followed.

'Okkadu', starring Mahesh Babu, Bhumika and Prakash Raj, was a huge hit. The Kabaddi backdrop and the Charminar set created a record. The lavish filmmaker followed it up with films like 'Arjun' and 'Sanikudu'.

'Rudramadevi', starring Anushka Shetty in the titular role, followed. The historical film took the actress' range to the next level in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. It had a spectacular role for Allu Arjun. Nitya Menen and Rana Daggubati had strong roles.

'Hiranya', starring Rana Daggubati in the titular role, has been in the pre-production phase. It will be made by international technicians and the big-budgeted mythological will be made on a huge budget. Guna is planning to make it a pan-world film.

Before this, Samantha Akkineni-starrer 'Shakunthalam' is being made as a 'drushya kavyam'. Produced by Neelima Guna and presented by Dil Raju, the film also features Dev Mohan as Dushyantha. Guna is making it as an uncompromising flick.
